Scope The honorary session for Halvor Kvande, planned in 2021 under Aluminum Reduction Technology Across the Decades: An LMD Symposium Honoring Alton T. Tabereaux, Halvor Kvande and Harald A. ye, had to be postponed. A dedicated session for Halvor Kvande is planned as part of the Aluminium Reduction Technology subject in 2022.

Manuscripts showcasing or highlighting Halvor's contributions to the industry are welcome as are manuscripts addressing improvements and challenges related to energy and emissions in primary aluminum production.

Note regarding publication: Authors seeking an oral presentation opportunity must submit a manuscript for the proceedings or be approved for publication in a TMS journal.
