| Scope |
The American Ceramics Society (ACerS) includes several organizations devoted to providing educational and professional development (EPD) opportunities for members. These include the Young Professional Network (YPN), the President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA), Keramos, and the ABET Accreditation Committee. This symposium will include discussion of the activities performed by EPD organizations, including best practices from events organized throughout the year and opportunities to increase involvement with the society. Additionally, talks focused on professional development, such as networking, mentoring, technical/grant writing, conflict resolution are encouraged from a wide variety of sources. |
