Scope There is a lot of activity going on in the development of alternate processing methods, such as powder metallurgy, to reduce the cost of titanium components, as well as the development of alloys with improved properties. I would anticipate participation and interest from industrial, automotive, chemical, biomedical and aerospace sectors involving titanium suppliers, fabricators, government labs, army and air force, possibly navy, and OEM’s.
