Please
make sure that you have entered your user name and password correctly.
Typos or the use of incorrect character casing are the most frequent
causes of invalid log-in attempts.
If you have not used ProgramMaster before, you will first need to create a user account within ProgramMaster.
To do this, follow these steps:
-
Select "Register As A New User" from the main menu.
-
Complete the fields associated with the new user account (note that
field names highlighted in red are required).
-
Press
the "Submit My Registration" button located at the
bottom of the page.
All
information you submitted previously is connected to your unique user name and
password. Do not create a new user name and password. To retrieve your password, use the "Forgot Your Password?" link located on the login page
to receive an e-mail with your user name and password. If you need further assistance, contact the ProgramMaster staff.
| Why
Does the Main Menu Run Off the Bottom of the Screen? |
|Back
to Top| |
ProgramMaster
is designed for optimal viewing using a screen resolution of 1024
x 768. For users who prefer to use a setting of 800 x 600, the
system will still function, but some unusual wrapping of content
will occur and some general-use system links at the bottom of
the Main Menu may fail to display.
| What
Are Some of the Features of ProgramMaster? |
|Back
to Top| |
ProgramMaster is a powerful, yet easy to use, tool for building conference programming and for publication. Some of the features are:
- Greater
system communication via a suite of action-
and date-triggered e-mail messages to notify all system participants
of relevant activities (e.g., every abstract submission generates an
e-mail notification to the symposium organizer; all authors and co-authors
are immediately notified when an abstract is accepted for publication;
authors of proceedings manuscripts are reminded of an upcoming deadline).
- Improved
system navigation with virtually every activity that a user can perform
within ProgramMaster is no more that three clicks away from the Main Menu. Tutorials and help information is quickly available.
- A
streamlined view with only active conference content shown to users. Once a conference is "closed," it is
no longer visible to users of the system.
- The ability to propose and, if approved, manage symposia online. Using the organizer/editor tools link, you can easily review abstracts as the authors submit them, accept or reject abstracts, assemble sessions, contact authors, and export a spreadsheet containing the information about your symposium.
- The ability to propose a proceedings online. If approved, you can view the manuscripts as the authors upload them, accept or reject manuscripts, and contact authors.
- The ability of authors to submit abstracts and upload manuscripts online. Via the presenter/author tools link, they can manage all their active submissions from one view.
