The motivation for our collaborative research is to understand the relative importance of grain orientation and interaction effects. To illustrate the iterative nature of our experimental and modelling approach, we will give a joint presentation of a case story on tensile deformed IF-steel. Through strong collaboration already when designing the synchrotron 3DXRD experiment, the same data has been analysed in increasing depth as the development of 3DXRD analysis techniques and modelling efforts has progressed.
