Abstract Scope |
The Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) framework has been a notable accelerant for for materials design in general and alloy design specifically. However, one of the most significant challenges for ICME's broader applicability is the lack of deep integration of experimental data, simulation codes, and known physical metallurgy into a single cohesive predictive engine. We will discuss how machine learning and other data-driven technologies can provide the missing "glue" for the many inputs and outputs involved in a typical industrial application of ICME. |
