| Abstract Scope |
Electrocoat has been an automotive industry standard for improved corrosion performance for over fifty years. PPG has been at the forefront of innovation in electrocoat. In this presentation, we will discuss a brief history of electrocoat developments and some recent advances. Topics covered in contemporary innovations will include options for lightweight metals (e.g.: aluminum) as well as reducing the footprint of the electrocoat application process. |
