In this study the soft magnetic-based and the Fe2P-type magnetocaloric compounds were prepared as the multiphase composite materials composed of soft magnetics/magnetocalorics and dielectrics (PVDF/LDPE). The effect of two dielectric materials like PVDF and LDPE on magnetic (like B(H) loops, core losses, magnetic loss tangent and complex permeability) as well as dielectric (complex permittivity, dielectric loss tangent) properties on soft magnetic material has been examined in the frequency and temperature regime. The parameters of composite ratio, magnetic powder grains size and compressing procedure have been optimized. For selected core the thermal aging effect has been studied. The magnetocaloric effect has been measured directly as an adiabatic temperature change for different ratio of Fe2P-type magnetocaloric to dielectric composites. Additionally to magnetic and dielectric studies, the mechanical properties have been tested using DMA method.
