Presentation Title Effect of H2 Enrichment on CO/N2/H2-air Turbulence Partial Premixed Flame Combustion Characteristics

Abstract Scope In order to investigate the effect of H2 enrichment in gas on the combustion characteristics of H2/CO/N2 partial premixed flame, relevant experimental studies were conducted using TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) and infrared gas analyzer. The changes of H2 (content of 0%, 16%, 32%, 48%, 65%) content on flame structure, flame temperature, concentration of gases (CO, CO2) in the flame at a fixed air-fuel ratio of 3.2 were investigated. It was found that as the H2 content increased, the flame length became shorter, the high temperature zone moved forward and the temperature increased, the CO2 content increased and then decreased, the CO decreased. The addition of H2 promotes the formation of OH radicals, while the oxidation reaction of CO containing OH radicals is more rapid than when it contains only O2 and O, which will have an important effect on the mixed flame.
