Abstract Scope The development of a web-based tutorial for 3-D visualization of ternary phase diagrams has been an ongoing project at Purdue University Calumet, supported by a FeMET grant. The web-based application will be demonstrated. The tutorial, to date, consists of a number of sections: (1)General binary systems; (2)General ternary systems; (3)Ternary systems for ironmaking; (4)Ternary systems for BOF steelmaking; and (5)Ternary systems for ladle metallurgy.
