||Mechanical and Corrosion Properties of CoCrFeNiTi-based High-entropy Alloy Additive Manufactured Using Selective Laser Beam Melting

We have reported that CoCrFeNiTi-based high-entropy alloy with superior tensile strength and corrosion resistance by a combination of additive manufacturing using selective electron beam melting (SEBM) and heat treatment . We could succeed in producing the high-density and homogeneous CoCrFeNiTi-based high-entropy alloy by using selective laser beam melting (SLM), which exhibited superior tensile properties and corrosion resistance without any heat treatments. I’ll discuss about the differences of microstructure and mechanical and corrosion resistance properties between the alloys fabricated by SLM and SEBM.
