Abstract Scope |
The effect of Te and their concentration in molten FLiNaK salt on corrosion properties of 304 stainless steel were investigated. The corrosion penetration depth was decreased as increasing Te concentration. Likewise, the mechanical properties were improved at the higher Te concentration sample. In case of the higher Te concentration, generated chromium oxide and Fe/Ni region fills out the GB and block the penetration of molten salt. On the other hand, in case of the lower Te concentration, it was not enough to promote the formation of chromium oxide which can hinder the Te diffusion. |
