||Microstructure Evolution of In 718 Alloy Manufactured by Selective Laser Melting under Different Stress Conditions

Inconel 718 (IN718) is widely applied in aerospace, due to its excellent high-temperature performance. With the development of selective laser melting(SLM) technology, SLM IN718 has been successfully used to make some components. This special process leads to big different microstructure and mechanical properties compared with those forging and casting parts. The effects of stress conditions on the microstructure evolution of selective laser melting additively manufactured Inconel 718 superalloy were investigated. Several stress conditions of tension creep test and no stress aging processes at 700℃ were apply to SLM Inconel 718 superalloy. SEM, EDS, TEM and EBSD were employed to characterize the evolution of microstructure. Based on these observation and analysis, the relationship of stress conditions and microstructure evolution has been revealed.
