High entropy alloys (HEAs) are a class of materials that consist of a single-phase disordered solid solution of five or more components at or near equi-atomic composition. HEAs are stabilized at high temperature by their configurational entropy and have exhibited high strength and low plasticity at elevated temperatures. QuesTek Innovations is employing integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) methods to accelerate development of HEA designs for practical applications, particularly aeroturbine blades. We will report on progress of HEA ICME tool development, including high-throughput ab-initio calculations, CALPHAD thermodynamic databases, critical structure-property models, and the design of HEAs.
