| Abstract Scope |
Textures of direct chill (DC) and continuous casting (CC) AA6xxx aluminum alloy sheets by using X-ray diffraction method were measured. The microstructures of the two aluminum alloy sheets were studied by using optical and scanning electronic microscope (SEM). In order to make a comparison of formability, the forming limit diagrams of the two alloy sheets were determined. The relationship between microstructure, texture and formability will be discussed and presented. |
