||Study on Hot Sizing and Creep-ageing Behavior of Al-Cu-Mn Cast Alloy

The deformation of large structural cast Al components during quenching is difficult to control and easily out of tolerance. Hot sizing based on creep-forming principle is a new technology to correct inaccuracies of parts in shape and dimensions. Thus, creep-aging curves of Al-Cu-Mn alloy were conducted under constant tensile stresses ranging 10MPa to 150MPa at 175°C。The curves at high stresses are sparse, while at low stresses are dense. Then, a creep-aging constitutive model was achieved with GA-based methods. And, a creep aging numerical model of Al-Cu-Mn alloy was established, which predicted a flat-sheet part with 5.17mm deformation and 69.16% rebound rate. Experimental results of the flat-sheet part under hot sizing process is good accordance with that of simulation, with an average error of 6.8%.
