Presentation Title U-1: Thermal Decomposition of Acid Strontium Oxalate

Abstract Scope Acid strontium oxalate obtained during reaction of celestite with oxalic acid is important product. In this study, thermal decomposition of acid strontium oxalate was investigated by TGA, DTA and mass spectrum analysis methods. The effects of heating rate, argon atmosphers on thermal decomposition of acidic strontium oxalate were carried out. Gas products obtained during thermal decomposition were characterized with mass spectrometer. Characterization of sample and products of decomposition were analysed by X-ray diffraction technics.
