||K-4: Study on the Reaction Characteristics of Compound Sulfur Fixing Agent with Inorganic Constituents in Coal Ash

At present, it is an economical and effective method to use calcium based sulfur fixing agent for coal-combustion sulfur-fixation. But this will cause the increase and modification of ash, so the resource utilization of sulfur-fixation ash has become an urgent problem. The reaction characteristics of sulfur fixing agent with inorganic constituents in coal ash were studied. The results showed that with the addition of CaO sulfur fixing agent and NaOH additive, the mineral component of ash formed mainly with C2AS、C2S、CS、C3A、C4AF、C4A3S、CaSO4and calcium rich vitreous. And it is beneficial to the formation of active mineral C2S and C4A3S, when the reaction temperature is 1200℃, the reaction time is 60min. This can improve the activity of ash and the application to the manufacture of fly ash cement.
