Abstract Scope |
Silicides (as Mg,Mn silicides) are important phases interesting in several applications in material science; structural materials or functional materials. Magnesium silicides and High Manganese Silicides (HMS) are two materials which are very interesting thermoelectric materials and a lot of international research programs were built. It seems clearly that the knowledge of the multicomponent systems such as Ge-Mg-Si-Sn and Cr-Ge-Mn-Si and their constitutive binaries and ternaries is mandatory as well for metallurgical applications as well in usage.
In order to get a better achievement of materials synthesis and usage, we will describe the database we built and the way how to use it in some synthesis procedures. |
