Abstract Scope |
In this present study, the effect of FSW parameters on the microstructure and shear punch properties of 6061 aluminium alloy were investigated. The main objective of the experiment is to find out the maximum shear punch strength. Therefore, it was found that iteration of FSW consistently improves shear punch properties of the materials. This was mainly related to microstructural modification through FSW, including better dispersion of CNTs powders, finer grain size and minimum clustered particles. The properties after FSW process exhibits shear punch properties of 30 MPa. |
