PIV technology and pH value meter were used in cool water model to study the effects of nozzle angel, diameter and gas flow rate on flow field and absorption rate, aiming at obtaining optimized conditions. The results showed that: As the inclined angle of nozzle increases, the absorption and utilization rates of CO2 are decreased, and stirring effect of gas on slag decreased. Meanwhile, gas disturbed matte at the bottom more frequently which leads to slag inclusion and low grade in matte. Circulation in slag weakened with the nozzle diameter increased, and the absorption and utilization rate of CO2 are decreased, so the appropriate nozzle diameter is 3.5～4.0mm. With the increasing of gas flow rate, circulations’ number, influential scope and absorption rate of CO2 become larger. However, a peak exists for utilization rate of CO2 at gas flow rate 20m3/h. Therefore, suitable one is 20～23m3/h.
