The purpose of the following work is to explore the impact of various regiments of ion nitriding on fragile destruction of steel 4Cr5МоVSi-GOST (BH13, ВS4659.)
The resistance between fragile destruction of nitrided steel is static bending, through the critical opening of the crack - δIс.The influence of the parameters of the process of ion nitriding (the pressure of ammonium in the chamber, the temperature of nitriding, the time of treatment) and the final structure after tempering on the critical opening of the crack in the nitrided test form is examined. It is concluded, that after ion nitriding the resistance against the fragile destruction of steel BH11 increases, which is expressed by the parameter - δIс.
