||Bubble Dispersion States in the Zinc Oxide Desulfurization Injection Blow Tank

As the high sulfur petroleum coke consumption gradually increase in the production of pre-baked anode, SO2 is produced higher than the new environmental protection standard at the process of aluminum electrolysis. Aiming at this problem, injection blow combined with ozone oxidation in a stirred tank is put forward to remove low concentration SO2 by ZnO. Wide dispersion of small bubbles in the reactor is indispensable for high desulfurization efficiency. So High-speed camera record the bubble dispersion states in the reactor under different experiment conditions: impel structure, rotation speed, gas flow rate, nozzle structure, immersion depth, eccentricity. Image processing software and Origin software are used for obtaining the bubble sizes and distribution. Results show that the bubbles diameter is mainly distributed between 0.2~0.75mm in the best conditions of SSB-D impeller structure, stirring speed of 300rpm, 300L/h gas flow rate, immersion depth of 8cm, nozzle with 8 holes, eccentricity 0.4.
