Abstract:Various Y2O3(1-8mol%) doped CaO samples fabricated by cold isostatic pressing. The samples were sintered at 1750℃ for 4h,the effect of the Y2O3 powders on performance of CaO material was investigated. Microstructural characterization was revealed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and analytical scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results showed that the densitfication of the CaO material was appreciably promoted(its weight addition stored after 49-days is less than 0.2wt%) when the Y2O3 was added. The hydration resistance was improved by addition of Y2O3 due that the CaY2O4 layer was covered by the CaO particles. The TiNi alloy was melting by vacuum induction furnace in CaO crucible. The interace reaction between TiNi melt and CaO refractory was analysised and it resulted that there were no significant element diffusion.TiNi oxygen content increased by 0.079 wt % after melting. |
