| Abstract Scope |
This talk will focus on engineering of carbon nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and graphene for various applications in future energy. Particularly, the interfaces of CNT-CNT, CNT-substrate, graphene-substrate and graphene-CNT will be used to highlight the challenges towards energy applications. Our recent results of electrical functionality in carbon nannomaterials will be presented. Some of these results offer excellent opportunity to have high efficiency devices and systems, high efficiency Li-ion battery based on interfacial controlled CNTs and flexible solar electrode based on large graphene structure. Our efforts on the strategies of manipulation of carbon nanomaterials interface and its characterization at nanoscale will be reviewed and critical issues will be discussed. |
