| Abstract Scope |
In this study, Ti powders were prepared by hydride-dehydride (HDH) method from Ti scraps. H2 pressure for hydrogen absorption into the scraps was controlled between 5 and 6 ATM and the process temperature was varied from 500 to 800 ℃. Structure and concentration of Ti powders showed dramatic change in the structure and composition. Characteristics of the powders were investigated by XRD, gas analyzer and SEM. We expect that cost-downed Ti powders will be achieved for the expansive medical and mechanical parts. |
