||Atomistic-based Continuum Model of Spontaneous Self-assembly and Dynamics of Double Helix Polymers

We propose a new atomic scale approach that allows to investigate a diffusional self-organization of atoms in continuum space during diffusional times. This became possible thanks to the use of a concept of quasiparticles, fratons, for a description of dynamic degrees of freedom and formulation of a cluster model Hamiltonian taking into account a directionality, length and strength of interatomic bonds. This approach was successfully used for description of spontaneous self-aasembly of atoms to double helix structure and then its dynamics.
