Abstract Scope |
This paper is divided into two parts. Firstly, a cast near alpha titanium alloy is developed based on the composition optimization of ZTi55 alloy, which shows higher strength at room and elevated temperature, good creep and persistent properties, and its structure stability at 600℃ is also discussed. Secondly, the response of solidification process on the precipitation behavior of alpha phase, as-cast microstructure and residual stress are analyzed. The results show that the isothermal heat treatment near beta to alpha transition temperature during solidification process can delay the precipitation of alpha lamellar, promote the growth of alpha lamellar structure, increase the lamellar spacing and reduce the residual stress. |
