Abstract Scope |
Global trends regarding to develop a green material are increasing. This project investigates cotton fibers such as reinforcement at eco-friendly composites. And green resins produced recently from castor oil will be used as a matrix. The objective of this work was to evaluate by Izod impact resistance of eco-friendly composites, that are using both green materials as raw material, with up to five layers of cotton fabric. The results showed an increase at resistance with increase of fabric layers, proofing that this new eco-friendly composite can be used at civil construction.
