| Abstract Scope |
Conducting polymer alloy films of Polyaniline (PAni), bend with PolyMethalMethacrylate (PMMA), have been prepared by the chemical polymerization of aniline on PMMA. Thin films of those blends were prepared by casting method with different ratios of PAni. The weight ratios of PAni were 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60%. Each ratio of PAni/PMMA doped with sulfuric acid by immersed in H2SO4 acid for 24 hour. The concentration of H2SO4 varied from 5% to 60%. The electrical conductivity is measured by two –probe method .The electrical conductivity of 50%PAni/PMMA blend increased from 6.5x10 -13 to 1.7x 10 –6 S/cm2 with increasing of H2SO4 concentration . The effect of temperature on conductivity also investigated. |
