This paper illustrates the about design principle of 39-45 t heavy compatible split type ingot, the top (bottom) of mouth with matching the ferrule (gasket) to achieve the purpose of heavy compatible. Using anycasting business casting software for the numerical simulation research of the filling and solidification process. Mainly reveal the ingot with matching ferrule (gasket) have influence law on the solidification quality and features of ingot. Results show: the two kinds of erection scheme are different degree effect on the solidification quality of ingot, adopt the ferrule to increase the depth of one shrinkage cavity, and adopt the gasket is beneficial to decrease the degree of segregation deteriorates.
