After more than 40 year's stagnation, with the rise of TMSR project, UNS N10003 alloy, a container material for molten fluoride salts has become increasingly hot. Nowadays, in China, various profiles were developed and produced, for example plate, bar, forging and pipe. The heat treatment after cold working is very important, so we studied the relationship between heat treatment process and material performance. The results shows that after 760 ℃ annealing, recrystallization can't be completed and the work hardening still exists. If annealing at 871℃, the work hardening declines sharply, but the microstructure is very fine. This fine crystal is disadvantageous for creep property. When the material is heat-treated under solid solution temperature, the best microstructure and property is obtained. So we think that low and middle temperature are suitable for intermediate heat treatment, but solid solution heat treatment is required finally to get the better comprehensive properties.
