||SPG-1: Diffusion of Cr in the Alloys during Corrosion in MgCl2-KCl Molten Salt

The simulation model of Cr diffusing in Haynes 230 (H230), Haynes NS-163 (H163) and Incoloy 800H (800H) alloys during the corrosion in MgCl2-KCl salt at different temperatures was evaluated. And the results are comparable to the experimental result from literatures. The simulation model is derived from the reasonable initial condition and boundary condition of the alloys by using the partial differential equations. In addition, as the corrosion rate is related to the boundary condition, by knowing the concentration on the surface of alloys after corrosion, we can predict the corrosion rate of different alloys in the molten salt.
