Abstract Scope |
In the space industry, micro-reactors have very high efficiency when applied to electricity generation and propulsion. Additive manufacturing is a promising technology for manufacturing fuel cores and control components for micro-reactors. In this study, components for each material were manufactured and evaluated in order to make micro-reactor components into additive manufacturing. The complex structure of a single material was manufactured by PBF, and the reinforced and shielding structure in which several materials were manufactured by the DED method. As a result of evaluation of micro-structure and mechanical properties, it was confirmed that the quality of the manufactured parts was good. |
