On-Site Speaker (Planned) Florent Bocher
Abstract Scope Vapor corrosion inhibitors are often utilized to prevent failure resulting from atmospheric corrosion. They have been used in environments such as those found under storage tanks. Long term exposure (up to one year) may be required to qualify corrosion inhibitors when using traditional corrosion coupons. Multi electrode arrays (MEA) are being proposed to evaluate corrosion inhibitors over a wide range of test conditions during short term experiments. MEA have been used successfully in the past to measure the effect of changing environmental conditions on atmospheric corrosion.
