When the steel Slag aggregate prepared by a single type crusher, its specifications will mutate. The specifications stability of the steel-slag improved significantly as the crushing process combination jaw crusher with cone crusher was applied. The combination of crushing equipment and screening equipment was used into the production of steel slag aggregates while the roller washing process for removing the dust on the surface of aggregates. A pilot production line was established on this technology. The specifications stability and road performance indicators of the steel slag aggregates from the pilot production line got a significant improvement compared to the steel slag aggregates of the traditional production line. The density of the steel slag aggregate decreases, and the dust content of it decreased by 67% -81%compared to the old line because of washing process.
