The paper describes the impact of heat treatment on the change of mechanical properties of AlSi30 alloy with ultra-fine grain structure. The purpose of the research was to determine the optimal parameters of heat treatment of the alloy. The hypereutectic Al-Si alloy tested, with unconventional chemical composition, was obtained using rapid solidification, then consolidated and plastically processed. T4 and T6 heat treatments were performed in an UMSA - Universal Metallurgical Simulator and Analyzer. Supersaturation treatments were performed at constant time-temperature parameters, but with variable parameters of the ageing process. The tests conducted have improved the strength properties.
