In work investigated structure, features of aluminized layer received in the conditions of SHS, and also the mechanism of formation of sheetings received at non-stationary temperature conditions. The system includes Cr2O3, Al2O3, Al, NH4CL, I2. The duration of saturation process by aluminium changed from 15 till 60 minutes. The covering structure consist from intermetallide compounds FeAl, Fe3Al and α -solid solution of aluminium in α - Fe. The influence of temperature and time of saturation on the aluminized layer thickness received on carbon and a doped steel is analyzed. Heat resistance received of aluminized layers in 3,2 – 4 above than at samples, treat on standard powder technology. This method provides high surface quality and it is the simplest and most suitable one in laboratory practice being well reproduced in production condition.
