||Research on Sulfur Conversion Behavior in the Oxygen Pressure Acid Leaching Process for the High Indium Sphalerite

This paper takes the high indium sphalerite as the research object. The metallurgical behavior of sulfur conversion process is studied under the condition of high temperature and high pressure system. The mechanism of sulfur conversion behavior under the condition of microwave heating was studied. The factors of liquid-to-solid ratio, leaching temperature, initial acid concentration, oxygen partial pressure and leaching time on sulfur conversion in pressure leaching process of high indium sphalerite were studied in the condition of traditional electric heating and microwave heating. The results indicated that the conversion rate of sulfur increased with the increasing of liquid-to-solid ratio, leaching temperature, initial acid concentration and oxygen partial pressure in a certain range, with increasing of leaching time, the conversion rate of sulfur first increased and decreased after balance. Considering all the aspects, the optimum parameters in the condition of traditional electric heating and microwave heating of the process were obtained.
