It is known that grinding of cast metal structure leads to increase of its physical and mechanical properties. To refine alloy structures they are modified through introduction of special additives - microparticles prior to their pouring into mould box. These special additives become additional centers of crystallization or change surface tension of melt at boundary with crystallization nucleus. In order to ensure uniform distribution of the additives in an alloy the special mixing devices are used. They create a turbulent flow field inside liquid metal and thus intensify diffusion processes contributing to uniform distribution of microparticles.
