||Crystal Structures and Conductivity of Lanthanum Gallate Doped with Strontium and Magnesium Synthesized by Different Methods

LSGM perovskite-type oxides materials synthesized by GNP, solid state reactions with 1400℃ and 1450℃ have been analyzed by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction with Rietveld structure refinement method using program software Maud 2.062. XRD studies of crystal structures of LSGM demonstrates that the symmetry of the crystal by GNP is orthorhombic structure (Imma), whereas the symmetry of SSR1400, SSR1450 are monoclinic (I2/a). Different preparation methods have an influence on the purities of LSGM. The maximum amount of main phases exists in SSR1450, which is 98.9533wt.%. GNP is 71.9548% and LSGM9191 is 94.8692wt.%. Crystal structure has a major effect on the ionic conduction. Higher structural symmetry increases the conductivity of doped LSGM. The conductivities of SSR1450 are higher than those of other samples.
