Abstract Scope Influence and disruption are essential skills for leaders in today’s increasingly collaborative world. The art of influence requires finesse as well as social awareness. The science of disruption requires careful consideration of environment and audience. When applied effectively, influence and disruption provide a novel leadership approach that yields both respect and results. Influencing skills, how to disrupt, and how to thrive when disrupted will be discussed.
