||LL-48: The Characterization of the Desulfurization Powder in the Semi-dry De-SO2 Process of the Sintering Machine Exhaust Gas and the Interaction with the Soil Particles

The desulfurization (de-SO2) powder was newly developped as a de-soil agent in the mining of the building stones from the wasted taillings of the open-air mines. In this paper, the de-SO2 powder in a semi-dry de-SO2 process of the sintering machine exhaust gas in an iron and steel company was collected. The chemical composition of the de-SO2 powder was analyzed by the titration experiments, and the chemical phases were determined by a X-ray diffraction meter. The size distribution was measured by a laser particle size analyzer. And, the micro-morphology was observed by a scan electron microscopy (SEM). Furthermore, the interaction between the de-SO2 powder and the soil particle was briefly studied, as well as the basic principles of the de-soil process.
