| Abstract Scope |
Accelerated corrosion tests are often used by automotive OEM’s to predict long term (real world) corrosion performance. There are many different test methods used by the automotive OEM’s and the tests are often specific to the substrates involved. Predictive testing of new materials and mixed material coupons remains a challenge. In this presentation, we will give an overview of corrosion test methods used in the automotive industry and how different material combinations perform in these tests. |
