Presentation Title CO2 Gasification of Catalysts-loaded Petroleum Coke at Different Grinding Medium

Abstract Scope The gasification reactivity of petroleum coke with additive was investigated by using thermogravimetric analysis. Results showed that the gasification reactivity of petroleum coke was not only increased with the increase of catalyst-loaded, but it was also effectively improved by anhydrous alcohol. The petroleum coke was mixed with a K2CO3-loading of 0.5%, 0.8%, 1.0% and 1.5% grinded in water and holding temperature time of 120 min, the gasification rate of petroleum coke was only 77.35%, 80.55%, 84.07% and 85.88%, respectively. However, which the petroleum coke grinded in anhydrous alcohol on the same condition of catalyst-loading, the gasification rate of petroleum coke reached 95.43%, 96.63%, 95.50% and 95.61% at the holding temperature time of 108 min, 101 min, 74 min and 35 min, respectively. It is systematically interpreted by the method of FTIR, SEM and EDX with the fact that the anhydrous alcohol can further improve the gasification reactivity of petroleum coke.
