Abstract Scope It has been established that steel 10ХФТБч (Standard of Ukraine) used for vehicle wheel disks has a ferrite structure with a tiny amount of perlite. The steel maintains high plasticity properties at different thicknesses. If the content of alloying elements is rather high the grain size and, consequently, plasticity parameters keep steady in the recrystallization process during considerable periods of soaking time. The degree of deformation and energy-power parameters of hot rolling also affect plasticity and strength of steel 10ХФТБч.
