| Abstract Scope |
The Ti-30Ni-20Pd Alloy (in at.%) was ECAE processed to produce ultr-fine grains of 0.5-1 micro-meter. The effects of ultra-fine grain and alloying with Pd on transition temperature and fracture toughness of the alloy relative to Ni-Ti binary alloy will be presented. The effects of phase transformation and related microstructure on transition temperature behavior of the alloy will be dicussed. |
