In view of the present situation of gas collecting system of a large pre-baked aluminum reduction cell has many structures, and the collector system is not clear under various operation conditions, in this paper, three kinds of gas collection system of industrial 400kA grade aluminum reduction cells is studied. The structure of the gas collecting system and the influence of the operation conditions of the electrolyzer on the collector efficiency of the tank have been studied by establish a physical field model of aluminum electrolysis flue gas. The model calculation results show that the concentration distribution of the gas in the tank is positively related to the temperature distribution. The manual operation of the electrolyzer will affect the gas collecting system, the opening of the groove near the aluminum terminal will have a greater impact on the physical field parameters of the smoke.
